Overview

The Department of Mathematics functioning as an allied department from 2001, was elevated to the status of major department in 2002, starting with Bachelor degree in Mathematics with CA. The department successfully introduced Master’s degree in Mathematics in the year 2005, Master of Philosophy in the year 2010 and Bachelor degree in Mathematics in 2011 with the motto of “Education to Elevate”. The department is acknowledged for its excellent teaching and learning activities with the help of distinctive faculties. Our weak Students are identified and given additional training to bring them on par with their classmates, similarly bright students are given extra coaching to score high marks. The department periodically conducts seminars and workshops to improve the knowledge and skills of the students
