Placement and Training cell helps to identify skills and the job requirements of the students. One of the primary goals of pursuing a degree is to obtain a job afterwards. Placement and Training Cell helps to achieve your dream job after graduation. Students often have the opportunity to try out different roles with various jobs.
Vision
- Enrich student’s professional skills and facilitate them to achieve their career through proper guidance
- Help students to meet the expectations of the industry and to achieve brimming placements and make them economically and socially independent in the early stages of life
Mission
- We strengthen students by developing employability skills to compete with corporate expectations
- Counseling the students to make them confident and mentally strong for tests, interview sessions
- Training them for development of desired skills
- Successful placement for students via dedication, attitude and complete involvement
Objectives of placement and training cell
- To provide incessant pre-placement trainings
- To develop student’s interpersonal skills
- To provide career counseling and career guidance programme
- To have frequent Alumni-Meets
- To provide recruitment opportunities to final year students based on their preferences
- To maintain optimistic relationship among the recruiters
- To manage recruiter’s and students feedback
- Final year students, alumni and other college students are eligible to get placement via campus drive
- Students have to provide declaration about their further plans, after graduation
- Students focused on higher education are not eligible for placements
- The student gives offer to every student in general
- The student should undergo pre-placement training before recruitment. The training lists out the general instructions of the particular company, about their norms etc.,
Guidelines
Recruitment Preparation Methodology
- The cell constantly works with top-notch companies to facilitate campus interviews
- Students receive assistance in preparing their Resumes/CVs for screening and short listing
- Mock interview sessions on group discussions and HR round are conducted to prepare students for the actual interview
Post Recruitment Methodology
- A copy of the offer letter is submitted to the placement office
- On receiving a second job offer, student must submit a letter of rejection to the first employer and an acceptance letter of the second
- If a student decides to withdraw the acceptance after accepting a job offer, they must inform the company
- Students must clarify their job-related queries, location etc., with the relevant company HR
